I’m supposed to be working, but for some reason I can’t concentrate. It’s a big account too so I really don’t know what’s keeping me from being motivated to do it properly. I don’t want to do a half-ass’d job either. It’s really very simple though, I just have to resize some images and update some sidebars. The job itself would take me maybe ten to fifteen minutes, tops; I just can’t do it.

I woke up not feeling very well, and I’m not sure why either. My headache has gotten worse, my nose has been bleeding on and off all day and the only cavity I have is really aching today. I have no insurance, or money to spend on a dentist so I’ve been eating aspirin like candy. I think once I do get work completed I’ll go a head and just go back to sleep. If I don’t wake up, oh well.

After weeks of it not feeling like winter, it?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s cold again. I’m rather happy about it actually. However, this weekend we’re expecting some massive blizzard to hit. New York is expected to get anywhere from six to twelve inches of snow. Which I guess isn’t too bad considering I have no where to go, but that doesn’t mean I’m happy about it. Being as I know for a fact that I’ll be the only one outside shoveling. Wind gusts are supposed to be up to forty miles per hour and that just makes shoveling a bitch because I know ten minutes after the deck is cleaned off it’ll all be put back. Can’t you just tell I’m anticipating this one?

I’m a horrible mother, even though in reality I’m not really a ‘legit’ mother. I was confusing dates for some reason and thought that Bella’s birthday was on February 12th. I checked her birth certificate and it turns out I was about ten days late. Her birthday is on February 2nd. I really don’t know why the 12th was sticking out in my mind. However, I do know that I feel horrible about it. I have spent every single day with her for the last two years and I still couldn’t remember her birthday. I’ve made it up to her though, I bought her a bone that’s a little bit bigger then her and she’s been chewing on it for the last couple of hours. Tomorrow I’ll let her bury herself in a snow bank (she LOVES the snow) and there’s my pay back for it.

I know you’re probably sitting there thinking “This chick is nuts!”, no I’m really not. Animal lovers do strange things for their pets. At least I’m not dropping 3g’s and renting out a place for her and her pup-friends to have a party like some stupid people do. I just drop $15 on a bone and boom – she’s taken care of.

I think my reason for thinking of the 12th was because of Alicia’s dog. I know they were born very close to the same time and there’s a chance that the 12th is Cuddelz’ birthday. We purchased both dogs the same day, from the same store. They aren’t the same breed, two completely different litters. Bella’s a Lhasa Apso, Cuddlez is a Shih Tzu. Although at some point in time they both stemmed from the same breed, they are two completely different dogs in the long run. Physically Lhasa’s tend to be smaller, have silky/soft hair and have more of a defined nose. Shih Tzu’s have flatter faces and in some cases coarse hair.

I know, I’m rambling and I’m kicking myself for having enough energy to post here but absolutely none to get any work done. I think I’m going to have a cig and then come in to turn everything off so I can sit down to concentrate on this damn account. I think after that I’m just going to kick back and relax for a little while. Tony’s doing rather well on keeping the servers maintained on a daily basis so I get a little bit of a break when he’s around. He’s on the clock until 5pm (PST) so I know that I have until 8pm (EST) to relax. YAY for Tony!

I got home on Sunday afternoon; I’ve just had no interest to blog. I still don’t, I’m just letting you know I’m alive.

I completed my American Government module while I was at my aunts. I’m waiting on the Mathematics module to show up, that won’t be here for another week though.

I wrote a hateful letter to my boss because if I didn’t get my 1099 tax form ASAP he was going to be hearing from not only my father, but my lawyer. Some people don’t understand that all tax forms are to be sent out before January 31st, being as it was February 6th, he deserved a mean email, don’t you think?

I’m working on converting the bulk of my listings over to new programs. I’ve closed about 20 fan listings so far, and I’m in the process of moving the remaining ones over to a new fan listing script. I’ll be doing the same for all of my hate listings, cliques and web rings over the course of the next couple of weeks. I’ve badly neglected acidgloss.net, to the point that I went through hostee’s (fan listings/hate listings mainly) that haven’t updated their site since 2004 – yea, time to go bye-bye.

I said goodbye to a few people this week, and for a change it was my choice. They probably think I’ll talk to ‘em when I’ve “cooled down” but for a change that?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s not going to happen. So long suckers, it’s been nice knowing you.

I?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢m going away with Tom next weekend, we don?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢t quite know where yet but we both know we need to get the hell out and spend some quality time together. Besides, its more or less a Valentines day thing anyway so why not enjoy it? Two days away from the butt holes that I live with? SCORE!

In any event, I’m going to watch some TV for the first time in like three days then I’m going to bed because I’m beat.

I’m about to shut down for the night but I just wanted to leave a note here in case anything goes on for the two days I’m gone.

I setup/redid a few things yesterday. Euphoric Plugs is a new plug site connected to EuphoricMB. I also went a head and redid Surf It! as well. There was a lot of spam and the look needed some up dating. I know it looks a lot smaller then it previously was, but believe me when I say that’s intentional.

I’ll be at my aunt’s house; those of you who need to be in constant contact with me already have my cell phone number. Please don’t abuse it as a few of you did last time that was very un-cool. I don’t have any intent on using her computer to check my email so anything from clients will be put on hold until Monday morning. I’ll be home a little after midnight on Sunday and would rather just go to sleep so I can be up for my usual 8-8 work week.

I got a 95 on my first American Government exam; I’ll be working on the next two while I’m at my aunts. It certainly beats watching TV all weekend. Even though she has 300+ channels there’s still nothing to watch, go figure.

In any event, I hope everyone enjoys their weekend, and try not to get too drunk on Sunday if you’re watching the super bowl. I think your time could be better spent reading a book, but that’s just because I’m not a football fan LOL.

Okay, so after a couple days of tweaking and preparing, the new layout is up. It features Bella because she’s my valentine this year. She wakes up and licks my face just like any loser boyfriend in the past – so why not?

I went all out on this one though, shockingly enough. If you notice when you go through the navigation everything changes (depending on the category). This was intentional. I’ve been working on a lot of business sites lately and for some reason this particular setup is burned into my brain. So using it on a personal site is a tad bit different, but I like it either way. Hell, pink and grey always work well together; doesn’t it?

It’s Wednesday, and oddly enough my day off. I’ve been working my ass off for the last two weeks and am taking a much needed break. I almost didn’t even want to blog or put this template up. I had no reason to turn on my computer, but I promised so that’s why it’s up. I get to spend the next two days finishing up any and everything I can on a few clients sites and then I’m gone for the weekend.

My aunt’s going to the city for some big super bowl thing on Saturday so I’m staying at her house. I got my American Government module yesterday so I’m taking it with me to get all of my homework done. Having two days of absolute silence? There?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s no problem here! Yea, I’ll have to listen to my uncles TV on Sunday because he’s a sports fanatic and apparently the Super Bowl is a big deal, never was to me so I don’t give a shit. I’ve got the rest of the house to myself though, so I’ll work it out. I’m sure I’ll be stuck with either Figgy or Lacey on my lap. Gotta love cats that just won’t leave you alone!

I’ve been breaking down my to-do list for tax season and I’m set way behind because of the billing center at source-1. They send out all of the w2 forms at the same time, so of course I’ll probably have to wait until two weeks before taxes are freaking due, UNFAIR. I definitely know what I’m doing with whatever money I do get to keep this year.

• Gut Room: Go through everything, throw out anything not needed.
• Clean Closet: I’ve got clothes in there that I don’t wear and their just taking up space. A lot of moms shit is still in there too so being as she no longer lives here, hello local landfill.
• Paint Room: I’m going to take down all shelving, posters and nick nacks and fill in the holes and paint everything pure white.
• Paint Doors: I’m painting the closet doors black, or maybe just purchasing new ones because these doors are 20 years old and need an update…badly.
• Purchase Rug: I’m going with either a grey with a black border, or grey with navy border. I currently have a rosey pink one that’s been in here for about 12 years and its just UGLY. It’s in decent condition – I just hate the colors.
• Domestications.com will be my new best friend. I’m getting new pillows, sheets, a comforter, the works. Pillows need to be replaced once a year, and mine are about a month over due.
• Rearrange: I’m basically switching the setup I’ve got right now. As you can tell I’m just moving things around a bit, nothing too major at all. The reason behind this would be that I’m purchasing a new monitor. It’d be easier for me to have my desk next to the window if I can put a new monitor on it. I’ll give me more then half my desk space back and believe me I’d kill for that. I also love having fresh air during the day and unfortunately right now I’m facing a wall…not a window.

So yea – those are my plans. They don’t seem like much but trust me, they’re definitely worth it. I haven’t had a major overhaul in here in 12-13 years, I think its time, believe me.

In any event; It’s almost 2 pm which means I have to go veg out on the couch for an hour before dad gets home. I have to then head on down to the grocery store and do some shopping. There’s absolutely no food in the house and I’m getting sick of my sister bitching about it. For someone who fucked up her own car, then decided that she’s buying a brand new ford truck, you’d think she’d go out and get a job…HA. She’s convinced that dad is going to co-sign, and that she’s going to get the loan from the dealership. It’s funny considering she barely works one job and isn’t even on the books, has no bank account, and no previous credit what so ever. I can only imagine how quickly that credit check would work out.
