So, I cooked today.

I woke up today with a goal. A goal of actually getting back to normal. Now, the last time I made Mac&Cheese was the last time I saw Joe. He loved it, and I loved making it for him, so I always made it a point to make him happy – which would then make ME happy.

Since his death, I’ve had absolutely no drive to make it – just sad memories of sitting at the kitchen table watching him shovel it in as though it were his last meal. However, my love of cheese will not die with Joe, it will die with me!

So, onto a very, very image heavy post

Cook the pasta.

Make sure to invest in some VERY fresh bread.

Drain pasta, and set aside

Salt, Pepper, Butter, Two cheeses, 2 cups of milk

Melt butter, add milk and simmer over low heat

Sift in some flour, about a 1/3 of a cup will do.

Use a wisk, stir until thick.

Take 1/2 lb. of american cheese, leaving about 4 pieces off to the side.

Add it to the rue.

Add in cheddar cheese, about a cup to a cup and a half.

Stir until thick, then add in salt and pepper.

Add pasta, mix well.

Pour into 13×9 pan, or caserole dish if your choice.

Top with remaining cheese and place into preheated 450° oven for 20-30 minutes.

Set table and call the kiddies.

Dish it out once it’s cooled for a few moments.

Feed the resident stoner, and her best pup pal.

Eat until full.

Make the local stoner do the dishes and then lay down until fullness subsides.

This is quite hard to belive, im not quite sure if i belive it myself, but i just read all your blogs right from the one where you talk about the passing of your friend Joe. I don’t yet know why i did it, but i did. Im not going to patronise you and say i know how you feel, cause i know you don’t like that, and it’s not true anyway, but i do however feel sorry for your loss. I was almost reduced to tears reading one of the blogs, but im not quite sure which one. I don’t know what has drawn me to read your blogs, but as i read, its actually possible to see your feeling better about it, but im not sure if it is true. It does seem that way, im sure you will feel better about it over time, and im sure he wouldn’t want you to be upset about him forever, but then again i don’t know him! Anyway i must go, i might go and try out your recipie for macaroni cheese! Bye Fran x x x

I’m not sure if it is your ability to make that mac and cheese or if it is the fact that you meshed pink/grey/blacks together
on this new layout, or what, but I want to marry you.

Your mac and cheese and my excessive use of commas might just make us happy!
Ok I’m going to crawl back in my hole and make spaghetti like a white girl. Ragu, yes Ragu.

  10. nat says:

  11. Angela says:

Holy cow… that was a lot of mac&cheese. I bet it tasted really good, too. I’m more partial to Velveeta’s Macaroni & Cheese from their box set up. But yours just might taste better. hehe, fex ex me some?

Ranee, noooooooooo no Ragu… try Classico. I think that’s the stuff John & I serve with our spaghetti. We think its like a lot better than Ragu any given day.

  12. Krissy says:

: sigh : – You people must learn that making your OWN sauce is better than any bottle.

I’m sooo offended right now :cries:
