Thanksgiving comes late…

I’m completely exhausted and that’s rare for me considering it’s only around 1:00am. It was a pretty busy day for me though. I woke up, had my cig and then basically I’ve been in the kitchen all day long.

I’m at the boyfriends house and considering I didn’t have much of a Thanksgiving dinner, I basically had one here with him and his mom. I was up early enough to bake a cake and some cookies to get dessert out of the way. The rest of the day was basically all about the fixings. I forgot to take the Turkey out last night so due to extra defrost time dinner wasn’t until around 7:30 which I guess was ok considering everyone seemed happy with what they got.

The boyfriend loaded himself up on turnips and mashed potatoes because he’s a picky eater when it comes to lumpy potatoes. I had to insure they were the right lump-ness or I’m sure he wouldn’t have eaten them heh. His mom seemed happy with dinner, “very full” as she put it, even the dogs got themselves some turkey and knocked out soon after. With everything in my system now I’m pretty beat, so I guess I’ll be going to bed sooner than planned tonight.

My tooth is slowly getting better. The meds really did help me out quite a bit so I?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢m hoping to get myself to a dentist real soon to get this tooth removed and another one fixed so that I can chew again. This is my reason for waiting, very patiently, to hear back from a few people about account work. I need to come up with about $500 by next week or I’ve in no way reached the goal I needed to. I get emails all the time from people looking for work and then they never respond, it really is starting to get a little annoying. I’m going to run some follow-up emails though, maybe something will come from there. I think I’ll do that before I go to sleep.

Actually…at the rate of my eyes closing…I think I’m going to do that now.

Any out-sourcers with an overload, just kick ’em my way…please? 🙂

Night all.

I can honestly say that Thanksgiving night was the first night in a long time that I actually laid down in bed and slept without having to peepee 20 times, toss and turn and just become extremely annoyed. It was good for me. I need to start knocking out the Tylenol PM or something.

Toothache is pure evil, hope you get it sorted out soon.

Is it a good exhaustion though? There’s good exhaustion and bad exhaustion. Seems like you accomplished a fair bit – should be good!

Cooking dinner for his family huh? Sounds like you 2 are in pretty deep.

I’m glad you had a good thanksgiving 🙂 Sucky that your tooth is still hurting, but at least the meds helped with it. I’m glad I don’t have to do all the cooking in my family though, I don’t think I could handle it, it’s just too much food. My family has spawned too much. O_o

I hate toothaches. I haven’t had one since I was 6 or so and I’m thankful for that.

Next year I plan on making dinner for everyone. I was going to this year but got too scared a few days before. I’m not a good cook and I didn’t want to disappoint people.
