FREE online dating??

A few nights ago, Baby and I were walking the dog and got into a conversation about all of the Internet Dating websites who have commercials. One of them says if you can’t find anyone in six months, you get the next six months free. Based on what I know of the site it’s a $40 a month service so after six months you’ve spent over $240 with this company. Why not just demand a refund? Their ‘six month guarantee’ is completely worthless if you haven’t found someone while you were PAYING for their services.

We started wondering if there were any free dating sites out there, of course the first that came to mind was a very popular social network site but we knew that wasn’t the same. He even thought about programming one himself just so that people can, for free, actually find someone the way many people have in the past. You don’t have to spend any money to pick someone up in a supermarket or a bar, why should you have to pay just to use a website when there are hundreds of thousands of sites out there that are for free usage no matter what the context.

While doing my usual surf around the internet I came across a site called – justsayhi.com. This is a new online dating site that really is 100% free. No credit card is ever required and the features of the site are just as good as any paid dating site out there.

While I’ve already found the man who makes me happy, I do believe that anyone looking for companionship that costs them absolutely nothing, should consider creating an account with justsayhi.com. They believed a REAL good free dating site needed to exist, that’s exactly why they built it.

Heh, I think all dating sites are not worth the time and money. People should get real, because they don’t even know who the person on the other side is.

  2. I never liked online dating, I had a bad Experience one time and from then on I thought it was a dumb Idea, but that’s just me.

I believe that too. Finding love should be free. Love doesn’t cost a thing. Can’t put a price on it.

Erm, well. No thanks. I guess. Although this is one of the better pay per posts I’ve read today.

I had a friend who tried that site you mentioned with the moneyback guarantee and they told her that there was a 78% chance she would never be matched with anyone… how harsh is that?

  5. Susan says:

Yeah, those “dating sites” on tv don’t look too helpful. glad you already have someone though! 😉

Internet dating and all those commercials are a jip no matter how you look at it. Seriously. I think people should find love the old fashioned way.

  7. LOL you know.. my boyfriend’s dad actually paid $35 to match.com the other day and I wanted to smack him. I was like MYSPACE!!! HELLO!!?!!!? FREEEEE!! haha.

well, I think finding someone online and dating
them is quite… well, not the norm, definitely,
and I never thought I could find someone that
I could like online until I did a few years ago.

  9. Bronnie says:

Haha crazy! Why would you agree to pay that much to maybe meet someone?!
I can’t believe how popular internet dating sites have become though!
Like you say, it’s heaps cheaper to go out for a drink in a bar and sit and wait – probably better odds too!
We have a free one here in NZ, findsomeone.co.nz, not a lot of help for Americans though! 🙂

I found a couple of 100% free dating sites, but then you look around and…naaah. I wouldn’t mind finding my guy on the internet. They cannot possibly be worse than who I encounter on a daily basis walking home, lol.
