Choose your colors wisely…

ades-capturing-colors.png It’s rare when I come across a webmaster resource that makes me drool in excitement. There are thousands of programs out there to help webmasters get things done a little bit easier but there are very few that do everything they say they’re going to do without any hidden programs to install with it that will eat up your hard drive. Just this morning I came across a Color Picker software. It’s like having the eye drop/color chooser from Photoshop without having to boot Photoshop. It allows you to capture colors anywhere on the screen with a single click of the mouse and the really cool thing is you can instantly place these colors into HTML, RGB, C++, Visual Basic or even Delphi color codes. There’s even a color library where you can store your colors, change your colors and convert one color to another. With a right-click of the mouse you can even access the last 10 captured colors. It makes it very easy for you if you’re designing a template that requires specific colors and you have to refer to them often. It’s safe to say that Ades, the designer of this program is really going somewhere. This program only uses 1.4mb of disk space, and it’s excellently priced at $9.90. There’s a free trial if you’re interested in testing it out before you download it but I downloaded the trial myself and I have to say – I’ll be making this purchase very soon. It makes life very easy for me, even if you aren’t a designer and just like using random colors on word documents and chat programs – this would be a valuable resource for you as well.

Try it out, you may wind up purchasing it too.

  1. Great comment guidelines. I think you’re on the right track here. Some of those comments should go somewhere else.
