I’m impressed!

The other day I noted my frustration because of being screwed over by an advertiser. I wasn’t frustrated with the sponsor I went through, it was the fraudulent advertiser that screwed me and lord knows how many other people. I log into my email after a few hours away from the computer to find a payment sitting in paypal from the sponsor. They updated their database to avoid future issues such as these and those whom completed this offer (having it pending in their payments) were compensated for it. I have to say that this company is seriously impressing me with how they handle things. I know I’ve sent in a few emails here and there asking questions but they’ve promptly answered them for me and are handling their site with complete professionalism.

was it a private advertiser or one that anyone can get? that is awesome about how they handled the situation though. it sounds like they treated you good

That’s cool that you were compensated for it. I hope that advertiser gets what they deserve!

wow that’s pretty impressive. most would just ignore it and move on.

Seems like they have handled themselves well. There are very few companies that do.

Krissy, so you took an assignment from Sponsored Reviews, and then found out that the advertiser was using people’s credit card numbers to run up fraudulent charges? Is that correct?

I write for Sponsored Reviews also, so this makes me nervous.

Krissy: It was just that particular advertiser that decided to fraudulently submit sites to the system. Sponsored Reviews has gone out of their way to justify the situation. It’s only one out of the 300+ advertisers they have that made a mess out of everything. I don’t discredit SR by any means, You shouldn’t either. They’ve updated their systems so that this can’t happen again.

It comes down to those sponsors just wanting to get their names out there, and unfortunately those whom accepted the offers were sending links to websites whom didn’t deserve the links they were getting. I sent a few emails to their DNS/Webhost noting they should do a background check on their hosting payments as well, just to add insult to their stupid injury.

Points to the sponsor! That really says something about them that they did that. Great choice, and thanks for updating on it 🙂

(..the last time I commented, the anti-spam was 2+0, and it told me I got it wrong when I typed in 2.. wtf??)
