For the past 12 hours, at least, I’ve been cleaning. I’m sure I could have accomplished it in half the time but that’s based on the fact that I kept getting side-tracked with other things. The bathroom took me about an hour, tile is a bitch to clean sometimes. I accomplished the kitchen, even having enough time while cleaning to throw some cookies in the oven for Sean. The living room is the cleanest I’ve personally ever seen it and now I’m working on my third load of laundry. Once I can get that into the dryer, I know for sure that I’m going right to sleep. My eyes keep freaking crossing on me.
Hoppers (yep, chose a name) wasn’t around tonight. I’m sure he was around the house but considering I can’t see what’s going on in the grass below – who knows. I just know he wasn’t on the porch to keep me company tonight during quick smoke breaks.
Sean and I attempted to head into a local mattress store tonight. We were on our way to the super market and wound up going across the street to this place first, not even sure if I remember the name but it also isn’t a chain so that may explain it. They’re running a deal right now where beds start in the $400 range, I’d say that’s a fairly decent price for a temporary bed. It’ll at least get us up off the floor and we can throw out the foam pads we’ve been sleeping on for the last few months. My back is finished, my hip is now acting up and I know he isn’t very comfortable either. Unfortunately, they were closed so we couldn’t look around to see what was on sale but I’m sure we’ll make a run over there tomorrow.
The reason for our trip to the supermarket was due to the fact that some bone head in the complex decided that they didn’t have any propane to BBQ and switched the tanks out on us. The gage is also missing a piece of glass so I want to assume they just unscrewed the whole thing, switched it out, then went from there. Sean noted that the cover for the BBQ never really stayed on properly and at first I was convinced that it was only the wind. Now I’m starting to think that someone has purposely been taking it off just to switch out the tank. I have no idea what actually happened but I can say that it’s not the tank we brought home a few weeks ago and we know neither one of us changed it out for an empty one.
I’m trying very hard to stay awake right now, I’m not sure how much longer I have left until I officially crash though. I do have to clean off my desk because it looks like hell. Then I have to head back into the kitchen and finish a few small things up. I just wish the damn dryer would work faster!
Uninstalling, Reinstalling, and still not getting anywhere.

I’m not too sure what’s going on with email at the moment. Anything going through the server doesn’t seem to make it to the recipient and on top of that, anything going through Gmail doesn’t seem to do it either. At this point, knowing full well that Gmail isn’t that faulty, I think I’m having some trouble with Thunderbird because that seems to be the only option at the moment. I’m going to just log directly into the send mail and see if things work from there, if they do then I may have to reinstall Thunderbird because that’s the only option at this point. I’ve been looking into new a new Mailing Lists Company as well, the mailing list I’m working with now isn’t working out that great for me either. It’s like some outside force doesn’t want me doing anything. I know that I need a vacation but being unable to contact people just adds more stress to the situation.

I’m still fiddling with the dual-monitors. I know, it seems to be my only topic of discussion today but trust me, there’s a reason for it. I’m starting to get used to how things are working out. Email/Chat to the right and work to the left. Thankfully, with Active Desktop there’s the ability to have two completely different backgrounds which is nice considering I tend to alternate them so frequently that I don’t get to use them for a long amount of time when I change things. So now I can display two at once and hopefully that’ll stop me from changing things so often.
The thing I’m trying to figure out now is the ability to get my screen saver to show up on both screens. I have XP Plus so I use the Aquarium screen saver, there are some cute little fish floating around my screen – I’m just trying to get them to show up on both but unfortunately I’m unable to locate anything on ANY search engine explaining how to do it. There are screen savers of the same caliber that actually work on multiple screens but I like mine too much to get rid of it, and I certainly don’t need banner ads randomly popping up due to whatever one I’d install that’s weighed down with Spyware.
Hopefully I’ll figure something out sooner or later, typically when the screen saver kicks on I’m not even in the room. But if I happen to be playing the Wii or even straightening up, it would be nice to see a huge fish tank on my desk instead of a tank to the left and a blank screen on the right!
If you, or anyone you know for that matter, know anything about how to do this without having to just download a new set of screen savers, a comment or an email would be greatly appreciated.

I’ve spoken about it before, and I’ll continue to speak about it until I’m blue in the face (or in this case, in the fingers). Drug addiction is a serious condition that isn’t to be taken lightly. I’ve lost friends and family to many addiction based diseases and wouldn’t want to wish that kind of pain on anyone, friend or foe. If you, or someone you know, has a drug related dependency or is going through alcohol addiction – get to a treatment center! There are many of them located all over the world and there’s no excuse for not helping someone in need. For those of you in the Malibu area, you could consider checking out Teen Rehab ECHO MALIBU. If you’re not in the area, Google is full of fine resources that can help everyone world-wide.

My monitor showed up today, I’m still working out the kinks. I’m not used to a dual-configuration and I wind up losing the mouse very easily between screens. If it weren’t for the nifty CTRL option that puts the rings around the mouse, I may have lost it by now.
I’m in the process of getting some work done, I slacked off today so I’m getting my butt in gear now. I’ll have more of an update later, this is more of a personal one:
Stacy – I emailed you from agndesigns@gmail.com. I could have sworn that was where the email was noted from before but I could have chosen the wrong address out of the drop down menu.
Shauna – I’ve contacted you twice – did you get either of them?
