Resource: Deal Locker

I’m poking around the ‘net with my usual coupons and promo codes found on Deal Locker for a few important household items. Mainly electronics coupons because we intend to upgrade a few things, like the TV’s and maybe a few monitors here and there. I’m content with mine but I know Sean needs better ones and considering our main form of combined income is all based on the Internet at this point, we’re going to need a few improvements here and there in order to pay the loan back, you know?

I like this new site though, deallocker.com, it’s mainly run by consumers and you don’t have to fish through expired codes before you get to the good ones. That’s one issue I was having with a previous site considering all of the purchases I’ve been making with Staples in the past. They’re a bit pricier when it comes to office equipment but the codes help so that balances itself out. I know I’ve spoken about Staples a lot but that’s mainly because they have everything I need. Where else are you going to find a comfy office chair marked down to $30 that isn’t a POS? Walmart? Kmart? Puhlease!

Another interesting thing about this particular site is their shopping tips and coupon blog. I’ve been using promo/coupon codes for so long that their tips really aren’t anything new to me but I figured I’d share the link for anyone who’s never really done this kind of shopping before. I just think if you can walk into a store with a coupon clipped out of the weekly mailer, then using them online should be no different. Sure, you may only save yourself a few dollars but think of that as covering the taxes.

DealLocker.com isn’t limited to just the US, there’s a database of companies listed all over the world so if you’re visiting here from say Germany, you can still find some great deals as well.
