It’s my hope that sometime over the course of the next two months, I’m able to hop in the car and take a trip up to New York to visit family. With cancer spreading like wildfire, and the Christening of my cousin – the trip would definitely be worth it. My issue right now is money, I don’t even think I’d be able to afford the $120 round-trip, let alone just being up there in general. From gas to tolls it’s not a cheap trip to take. I know it’s not like I’m going to be in Key West Snorkeling or anything, but it’s still damn expensive to travel through two and a half states. For those who don’t live in the Tri-state area, you probably wouldn’t understand. Unfortunately anyone coming into or out of New Jersey or New York has to pay some kind of a toll. I think it’s stupid considering I can travel the entire length of Delaware for $3, and that’s only if I stay on Route-1 the entire time. Either way I just know that I have important things to do in New York and I don’t know if I’ll be able to get up there. It’s really depressing. I just need at least ONE damn store to call me back and say “Come in for an Interview!”
