Since I’m in the process of moving in, Baby and I have been thinking about and window shopping for furniture to suit our needs. We’ve been looking at beds, dressers, and of course appliances because we’re actively working on getting a bigger TV and some monitors for the office. For me, the bedroom is the most important and since I’m anal retentive about things matching, I’d prefer to look into bedroom sets. Things HAVE to match for me, or I go nuts. If I’m going to spend the money to remodel something – it’s going to match.
The room is this blue grey color with a cream colored rug, now this isn’t exactly my main color choice but he doesn’t want to change it so I’m going to have to improvise. The pallet I picked out was a grey, black, white, punches of red…it would all match up if done right. The red is really like…accents. A few throw pillows and stuff like that, so hopefully that all works out the way it’s supposed to. It’s the financials that need to be worked out first.
There is a plus though, compared to the shopping we’ve been doing on foot, there’s quite a bit of great priced furniture online. While I’m unsure if the final purchase will be made online, I do know that it’s nice to be able to find a website or two where you can basically look at everything possible to build your room around it.
So much for paying a designer – eh?
