Needing some kind of relief…

Nurofen Plus I haven’t been doing too well lately. I don’t know if it’s the stress from all of the walking, the horrible bed that I’m sleeping on, or if it’s the fact that I’ve spent so much time sitting in uncomfortable chairs while I work all day, but I find myself being in more pain than usual. I’ve been searching every where for a pain reliever that doesn’t require me taking prescription drugs. There’s plenty of vicodin and percocet in the house but I get so tired and so sick after taking products like that, that I really have no choice but to take some aspirin and suck it up.

I found a new product, Nurofen Plus, that’s supposed to be a very strong pain reliever. It’s a dual action of ibuprofen and codeine. It’s powerful temporary relief for strong pain and/or inflammation associated with headache, tension headache, migraine headache, period pain, dental pain, back and neck pain, neuralgia, rheumatic and arthritic pain, muscular pain and sports pain.

So yea, it covers a lot of area’s but does it actually work? I honestly don’t know. While I believe that strong pain relievers are important – I’m not too sure about the $35 price tag attached to it. I also don’t know if this is even FDA approved and unfortunately I couldn’t find much information about it other than it’s made in New Zealand. It requires a bit more research for me to get myself into something like this…I’ll stick to Tylenol for now but guess it’d be worth trying for those who can’t get relief anywhere else.

When I had my wisdom teeth agony Nurofen was the only painkiller that would give me some relief from the pain. I can’t say if it’ll work the same for you but it’s definately worth a try.
Hope you start feeling better soon.

honestly, coming from someone who has fibromyalgia and a defunct uterus I’d say naproxen would knock out pain better than other things. Especially anything that costs that much. I’ll use naproxen and take like 3 to 4 at a time. It’s an anti-inflammatory so it’s usually the best thing to do. Always take more than the doses say because well, they suck.

I would be weary of using this. I do know how you feel. I’ve battled chronic tension headaches and migraines for years. I generally stay away from pain killers since they usually make me feel worse.

Hope you get to feeling better.
