October is almost over, I celebrated my birthday on Wednesday by not really doing a damn thing but going to work, getting to choose which fast food joint was going to be dinner and then I was fast asleep soon after, oh well it’s only my 24th, still have a year to go before that pesky auto-insurance drops down a bit.
Work has kept me pretty busy, I’m used to the hours now, to the point that I just can’t seem to do a damn thing when I get home from work. At this point I just don’t care anymore. I know there’s shit to do around the house, and I should probably make an ounce of effort to maintain my sites and what-not but I truly couldn’t care too much about it these days.
As for the title – It’s freaking October – why is there a sheet of ice on my windows? Where is this possible lake effect snow coming from, and why the hell is there NOT a scraper in the car to get the damn ice off!
So I’m going to be late to work so the sun can do the job of melting the ice down for me. Overtime is out the window! :ugh:

I’ve been upset that there is ice on my windows too. It shouldn’t be this cold until mid December, in my opinion. I’m glad that work is keeping you busy but I’m sorry that you don’t have time to do the other things you’d like.

Happy 24th…. Good age.. Hey, now you have to change your profile age to 24. Being 24 isn’t bad. So which fast food did you end up eating? I’m in Chicago, but it’s not snowing here. It’s cold, but no flakes so far. I kind of want snow. Don’t you like the seasons in the city? Don’t stress too much.

PS – a flat card like a SIN card or a license works great for getting ice off of windshields. Only takes a couple minutes!

Ha ha, the year is going fast!! We had snow here (about 6inches) and it’s not even quite Nov!!

Happy late Birthday! I don’t blame you about the hours and the housework. It’s hard to go home from a full day of work just to start working on something else. And as for the ice…what the heck? I’ve had it here on my car too and it’s annoying. First we have a LATE spring this year, an EARLY fall, and now an even EARLIER winter?!? Makes me wonder how next year will be.

Haha, I have that question too…weather is being weird lately. But I really noticed that busy people who always rush after waking up definitely hate frosty mornings 🙂 and since you just have your birthday, why not relax or at least spend a day without rushing or getting busy?
I don’t want to you to hate me, but here in Middle of Italy though it’s november we have a spring time with temperatures on 20 celsius, sure the winter will come but for now we don’t see it!
